Jade, I'm not sure how I missed this! Such an honour to be included here - thank you! I love how you frame the week: "The way each piece took something big and brought it back down to a human scale." What you share here is really beautiful and it feels like a soft, centering moment in amongst all the noise.

@Dallas Payne :) thank you so much. I think alot of that came from the conversation you created in the first place. There was such a strong thread running through everyone's contributions, even though you were all coming at the topic from different places. It felt honest, nuanced, and deeply human. I'm really grateful you brought everyone together for it, and I'm just so glad that I’m able to share it

Jade, thank you so much for this beautiful message 💛

It truly warms my heart to hear that the conversation landed with you in such a meaningful way. These kinds of exchanges — where we’re willing to sit in the tension between human sensitivity and what AI can (and can’t) hold — feel so important right now.

I’m really glad it resonated, and even more glad you felt safe and welcomed in it. That’s the whole point. Thank you for showing up with such an open heart and for taking the time to share this with me. It means more than you know.

With appreciation,

Lynn

Jade, what a gift to read this. You found the thread that runs underneath all of it, the way each piece keeps pulling the conversation back to the actual person standing inside the system. That is the work. That is the whole work.

I was grateful to be part of the conversation Dallas built around AI and sensitivity. What you named about it, the tension between using a tool that helps you hear yourself and a tool that pulls you into more processing than your nervous system needed, is exactly the line so many of us are learning to walk. You said it more clearly than most of the discourse manages to.

Thank you for reading the way you read. Attention really is the gift, and you give it generously.

@What Nobody Told You About... This means so much, thank you. It was a beautiful conversation, and such a joy to be a part of, even as a reader. I am so grateful to have read it, and to be able to share it with others. I’ve no doubt it will have as powerful an impact on them as it did me. Thank you so much for sharing it with us :)

Jade, thank you for reading it the way you did. Can’t believe Substack didn't notify me!

The company you put this piece in actually made me understand my own post better. These conversations are all the same conversation. The person standing inside the system, trying not to disappear into it. Thank you for the thread you followed. 🩷🦩

The Reading Room is one of my favorite ways to discover new work because you stand out to me as someone who reads with genuine care and attention.

I’m so grateful you included me on this list. “Attention feels like what we still have while we still have each other” is a line I’ll cherish forever.

Thank you so much for your generosity, Jade. I’m excited to read the rest. 🤍
